FREE JOG ON Challenge - Strava Art (20th-22nd June 2025)
The JOG ON STRAVA Art Challenge
A free event running Fri 20th - Sun 22nd June 2025.
NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU GO TO CHECKOUT AFTER ADDING TO CART
The JOG ON STRAVA Art Challenge requires you to get creative and write the words βJOG ONβ using your GPS watch.
Please only take part if you are in good health and fit enough to do so. You attempt this challenge at your own risk and understand that we do not encourage you to do anything beyond your current capabilities.
We have a JOG ON certificate that will be made available to download on completion to which you can add your name. This can be printed out or posted on your social media with your artwork.
RULES
The Core Challenge
The Art: Competitors must create the words "JOG ON" using their GPS running route as recorded on Strava.
Single Continuous Run: The entire artwork must be completed in one single, continuous run. This means:
No watch pausing: Your GPS device must record uninterrupted activity from start to finish.
No stopping the activity: Do not end and restart your run during the creation of your "JOG ON" art.
Overlapping is allowed: You are permitted to run over the same lines multiple times if necessary to connect letters or improve your artwork.
Submission Requirements
Public Strava Activity: Your "JOG ON" run must be uploaded to Strava as a public activity. This allows us to verify the route.
Activity Title: Please title your Strava activity clearly, for example: "JOG ON Strava Art Challenge" you can also use the hashtag #jogon
Screenshot/Link: You can submit a screenshot of your finished Strava art, or a direct link to your Strava activity, to jogonevents@gmail.com by the end of Monday 23rd June 2025
Judging Criteria
The best three entries will win a Β£20 gift card to use on anything in the JOG ON Shop based on the following:
Clarity & Legibility
Creativity & Effort
Overall Aesthetic
Fair Play & Anti-Cheating Measures
To ensure fairness, we will be verifying entries against the following:
No Manual Edits: The Strava activity must reflect the actual GPS recording. Any manual edits to the route on Strava (e.g., drawing lines, correcting GPS errors) will disqualify the entry.
No GPS Spoofing/Manipulation: Using any method to artificially generate or alter GPS data to create a route that was not genuinely run will lead to immediate disqualification.
No "Segment Cheating": While running back over lines is allowed, intentionally manipulating Strava segments to inflate distance or time without actually running the full course will lead to disqualification.
Single Device Use: The run must be recorded on one primary GPS device (e.g. running watch, phone app). Combining data from multiple devices for a single run is not permitted.
Plausible Pace: The pace and duration of the run must be realistic for the distance covered. Unrealistic speeds or times may be flagged for review.
Human-Powered: The activity must be entirely human-powered running. No cycling, cars, or horses for example.
We reserve the right to verify any entry and disqualify submissions that violate these rules. Decisions of Harry and the other judges are final.
